Denise, who has devoted more than 18 years of service to Precision Technology, enjoys all aspects of her work, but especially likes collaborating with the other members of her department. She’s found that teamwork goes a long way in getting things done smoothly. Denise is also amazed by how much she’s learned about the industry since joining Precision and finds it interesting to see how the parts are used outside of the company. Outside of work, Denise enjoys spending time with her family and rooting for the Phillies.
Dave has worked for Precision Technology for more than 39 years. He says what he enjoys most about his role is the opportunity to create new jobs and the challenge of learning new positions. He’s found that the people at Precision and the friendly atmosphere they create make working for the company so enjoyable. When he’s not finishing a part, you’ll find Dave listening to music or watching his favorite James Bond movie.
Waleia is the go-to person for all of Precision Technology’s shipping and receiving needs. She enjoys managing the department and tracking orders to make sure they arrive quickly and safely. One of the biggest challenges Waleia faces is keeping track of the various ways that customers like their parts to be packaged. Her organized and precise way of working allows for all aspects of the shipping department to run smoothly. When she’s not at work Waleia loves spending time with her grandsons.
Dawn, who currently works in the mounting department, finds that the various set ups of the parts makes her job at Precision Technology interesting. She says what she enjoys most about her work is creating a variety of products and discovering something new every day. Since joining the company, Dawn believes that the most important thing she’s learned is that teamwork is always a key to success. In her spare time, she likes taking walks and cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies.
Another one of our longest-serving employees, Janice has been an important member of our wax injection department for the last 35 years. She’s enjoyed watching Precision Technology grow and remembers a time when the wax melting pot could only hold 50 pounds. Today, Janice is amazed to see that the current melting tank has the capacity to hold up to 500 pounds. She believes that one of the most interesting parts of her job is witnessing technology changes like this. When she’s not busy injecting molds at Precision, Janice enjoys completing word searches and visiting with her grandkids.
In his more than 30 years of service to Precision Technology, Brian has served as both a welder and grinder. He says that the most rewarding part of his job is the variety of castings he gets to work on. Brian also finds it amazing how powerful welding is in the process of creating a perfect, finished product. Outside of work, Brian enjoys attending NASCAR races with his colleagues and camping, fishing and hunting.
Over the last 18 years, Brian has served several roles at Precision Technology. Currently in the pouring department, Brian notes that it’s his colleagues who make his work enjoyable. He’s found that everyone in his crew and in management cares about the company and strives to continuously improve the work flow. Brian says he loves pouring because it’s not a job everyone can do—it takes real skill and requires someone who can “take the heat.” When he’s not working in high temperatures, he enjoys hunting, camping, shooting and fishing.
Keith started working at Precision Technology in 1992 and is currently a supervisor in the ceramics department. Every day, he makes sure that his team works efficiently and safely in order to create quality castings. He enjoys making sure his department is as productive as it can be and lives by the motto “give it your all everyday and you will succeed.” Keith’s favorite memory of work is May 1, 1996—the day he met his wife Allison. In his free time, Keith enjoys going fishing with his family.
Allison, who has been with Precision Technology for more than 19 years, says that one of the best parts of her job has been watching the company expand. She also enjoys the challenge of balancing the injection and mounting processes and explaining the process to new employees. While she has many fond memories of Precision, her favorite has to be meeting her husband, Keith, at the company. When she’s not at work, Allison enjoys making crafts with her two daughters.
Hiram is another one of Precision Technology’s longest-serving employees with more than 23 years of service under his belt. Hiram says that the most enjoyable part of his job is having the opportunity to do something different every day. As a supervisor in the finishing department, Hiram serves as a role model, encouraging his team to continuously exceed expectations. When he’s not pushing himself to meet company goals, you’ll find him rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Tom is a valuable member of the Machine Shop with over 37 years of experience in machining. One of the most challenging parts of his job is developing various fixturing methods for new parts. The knowledge that Tom has gained over the years assures that castings are machined to precise customer specifications. In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing golf, hunting and spending time at his cabin.
